Trope is pleased to announce a collaboration with award-winning artist and designer David Lee Csicsko. This collection of illustrated portraits from LGBTQ+ Icons includes Ada “Bricktop” Smith, Freddie Mercury, Dusty Springfield, Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring, and Josephine Baker, just to name a few.

David Lee Csicsko’s distinctive artwork, stained glass, and mosaics beautify train stations, hospitals, churches, and universities across the Midwest and East Coast. His many credits include designing the Obamas’ White House Christmas in 2012. David’s lively illustrations can also be seen in The Skin You Live In from the Chicago Children’s Museum, now in its 16th printing. Through his use of color, bold graphics and playful patterns, David Lee Csicsko celebrates the richness and diversity of life.

Sizing & Shipping

Sizes are measured from edge to edge of paper. Image size is approximately 1-2" smaller on all four sides, depending on the photographer's original format, to allow plenty of room for matting if desired. Custom sizes and shipping are available; please email or call for more info.

Print only orders are shipped untrimmed and gently rolled into a tube and ship within 2-3 days. Framed orders are boxed with protective foam and ship within 3-4 weeks.

All prints include a Certificate of Authenticity.

Paper & Printing

Trope prints are produced on museum-quality, uncoated fine art cotton rag paper. Images are printed with archival, colorfast dye inks for bold and precise color. Custom paper is available; please email or call for more info.
