Andy Shigekawa is a native Southern California resident. He attempts to elicit an emotional response with the mood of his images. He began with product and landscape photography but is currently focused on capturing the candid moments of daily life in his street photography. He is a singer-songwriter and jazz musician and serves a worship leader at his church. He enjoys traveling with his wife and growing as an artist.
Andy's work is published in Trope Los Angeles, the seventh volume in the Trope City Editions series that celebrates the architecture and urban and natural landscapes of Los Angeles. Trope Los Angeles will be available fall of 2024.
