MR WHISPER a.k.a BAL BHATLA is a former ad-world director whose passionate about chronicling London’s everyday streetlife while shooting for a wide variety of global brands.
Bal Bhatla
Bal worked in advertising for agencies throughout London for over 12 years. With photography always his true passion, Bal's personal Instagram account built a large following and companies began to contact him for campaign work. His dream of being a commercial photographer became a reality as he started to receive commissions from notable brands such as Adidas, Audi, Jaguar, Netflix, Disney and Bombay Sapphire.
Bal has perfected the art of capturing the dark and mysterious alleyways of London. Known for his distinctive street style and for his images of London’s Underground, Bal captures the city’s atmospheric gloomy days and breathes life into its architecture, revealing beauty in the intimate stories playing out on its urban stage. His hope is that if someone were to see his work in 50 or 100 years, they would gain a window into London life in the early 21st century.
