Beatriz is a New York City based photographer and producer with a passion for capturing dreamy and intimate moments of city life. With a subtle approach, she strives to document the beauty and charm of the city, its architecture and the people who call it home.
Raised in Portugal, Beatriz developed an interest in photography in her early teens, using it as a way to document her travels and life with family and friends. She went on to study journalism and film in Madrid, Spain and started a career in video journalism in New York City. Currently, Beatriz is working as a full-time managing producer at a media company.
During the pandemic, Beatriz found herself drawn to architectural photography for the first time, exploring the empty streets of her Upper East Side neighborhood and discovering new facets of the city. Today, she continues to celebrate the unique charm of New York City through her photography, capturing the quiet moments and intimate details that make the city so special.
Beatriz's work is published in Trope New York, the fifth volume in the Trope City Editions series, that celebrates the architecture and urban landscapes of the “city that never sleeps,” one of the world’s cultural capitals.
