Chrystian Alvarado got started in photography after a successful career as a graphic designer. Born in a minority neighborhood, he has experienced many hardships and uses photography to help overcome them. He describes his work as a visual expression of feelings and often emphasizes the contrast of light in his pieces.
Chrystian believes photography gave him a deeper purpose and a greater appreciation for life. He hopes to connect with others through his photos and inspire them to step outside of their comfort zone, and explore their creative nature.
Chrystian's s work is published in Trope New York, the fifth volume in the Trope City Editions series, that celebrates the architecture and urban landscapes of the “city that never sleeps,” one of the world’s cultural capitals.
