Cyril Mouty

Paris-based photographer Cyril Mouty embarked on a unique journey, initially carving a career path in luxury and hospitality that whisked him across the globe, spanning England and the United States. Through his various roles in different hotels, Cyril found himself traveling to numerous destinations, immersing himself in a tapestry of countries, cultures, and lifestyles.

It was amidst these adventures that Cyril's lens began capturing more than just iconic landmarks and attractions. His focus shifted to the heartbeat of each nation—the people. Street photography and reportage metamorphosed into a profound passion, compelling him to document the essence of every place he visited. In a world where many travelers merely snap identical photos for social media, Cyril diverged from the norm. He engaged with locals, delving into their daily lives, and sought to comprehend the nuances of their unique cultures.

Today, for Cyril, the true luxury lies in the exploration of places, cultures, and people. This ideology serves as the foundation for all his work.

Cyril endeavors to present photographs that encapsulate the authentic reality of each locale, capturing the scenes as perceived by the human eye. While he employs tools like Lightroom and Photoshop for editing, there's no room for generative AI in Cyril's creations. His images are unequivocally genuine—where colors may be heightened, and light meticulously shaped, but always in harmony with the truth of the scene.

Cyril envisions his body of work as a potential legacy—a testament to elements that may one day cease to exist. In his artistic journey, he aspires to immortalize the fleeting moments that define the rich tapestry of our world.
