Born and raised in China, Jay Huang spent much of his childhood drawing and photographing urban buildings, inspired by his architecture-professional parents. In 1989, he moved to the US to pursue an MBA degree and has since been working in management-level positions in the Bay Area for over 30 years. His photographic journey focuses on the Bay Area, as well as the American West. Jay considers himself as a passionate landscape enthusiast, business professional, and a self-learner. He is currently leads and organizes amateur photography groups based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
