Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Miami, Florida, Jorge has always enjoyed creative expression through photography. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Religion from Florida International University. His work primarily focuses on the intersection of his two passions: photography and architecture. Living in a major metropolitan area like Miami, he has been fortunate to capture the diverse offerings of a city that provides something new to photograph every day.  

He describes his photographic style as eclectic, guided by the idea that there is beauty in ugliness and ugliness in beauty. He is honored to be included in Trope Miami and hopes that his work inspires others to express themselves, and that these images – which he views as unique as fingerprints – complement the work of his fellow photographers to showcase the true beauty of Miami.
