Judit Prat Martí has always loved taking pictures. Originally from outside Barcelona, Judit started taking classes at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes school while a Postdoctoral fellow at the Astronomy and Astrophysics department at the University of Chicago. Judit loves how photography encouraged her to explore her new home of Chicago, exploring and getting to know the city and its various neighborhoods. Many Sundays, she would take her bike and her camera, and choose a neighborhood to explore, photographing everything that would catch her eye. Judit’s studies have since taken her to Stockholm, where she is looking forward to exploring a new city and continuing to capture the magic with her camera

Judit's work is featured in The Reader, a photography book that intimately captures people from around the world lost in the timeless act of reading. Judit's solo book, Chicago in Color, showcases the different neighborhoods of Chicago in a new and colorful perspective.

Judit's work is also published in Trope Chicago: The Loop & Beyond, the eighth volume in the Trope City Editions and the companion to Trope's first city edition, Trope Chicago.
