Born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Malik Blaylark is a street photographer that has been learning more and more about the craft since he was 12 years old. Receiving his first DSLR camera at the age of 13 and joining his first photography class at 14, his interest in the art form combined with his drive to venture to new and exciting places makes street photography a perfect fit. Through his ventures, he's learned plenty of unique vantage points around the twin cities, giving him the self proclaimed title of the Location King of the Twin Cities.   

Malik describes his style as "Naturally Vibrant", incorporating the natural colors in the photos he takes while adding a bit of subtle color grading to help the photos pop and stand out. In order to help that style grow he's used Lightroom Classic for his post production, as well as steadily upgrading his gear till he reached the Canon R6 Mk II that he uses to this day.  He constantly looks for new cities to travel too to see his style on the scenes of those cities, yet no matter how often he travels he always comes back to his roots in the Twin Cities.
