Michele Thompson
Michele Thompson is a land and cityscape photographer currently based in Toronto and New York City. She started her photography journey in 2018 as a way to manage her depression and anxiety, and credits it as exposing her to a whole new world. Michele quickly found herself developing a passion for noticing and capturing smaller moments she never noticed before, and as a result, she enjoys a range of genres.
Michele is a self-taught photographer primarily learning and developing her skills through attending webinars, workshops, watching YouTube videos, and sharing with other photographers. As a trained and practicing dentist for many years, she sees many parallels between the two disciplines. Both are detailed oriented, involve science and can be creative and technical. Michele continues to learn, experiment and find new perspective everyday.
