Raised in the suburbs of Washington, DC, Natasha Bearden is a photographer and fashion & lifestyle creator. She started her photography journey in January of 2016 when she purchased my first DSLR camera as a way to escape the rigor of her undergraduate civil engineering courses. What started off as a creative outlet quickly turned into a passion for travel and visual storytelling. In 2022, she began elevating her craft by investing in professional gear and sharpening her skills. Since then, she has had her photos shared by brands like Canon and a few others.
Natasha finds inspiration in opposing elements since they bring a sense of balance and harmony to a photo. Her style plays with the duality of yin and yang, where vibrant colors bring energy and vitality while shadows create depth and mystery. Through her stepfather’s family, Natasha was introduced to the work of Romare Bearden, and this exposure helped shape the deep appreciation for art and creativity that defines her. Hence, why she has so much pride in being a photographer taking photos of the beautiful places she visits. This is her way of continuing his legacy.
