Parisian photographer Nathalie Geffroy developed a passion for photography with the arrival of Instagram in 2011. An artistic director in advertising by day, she enjoys rediscovering her city from a variety of angles and finds inspiration from different lights and shadows that emerge during walks. These simple yet fleeting moments of everyday life are what Nathalie chooses to capture and immortalize with her camera and share with over 500k people who make up her followers.
From the streets of Paris to the remainder of the world, Nathalie also enjoys discovering and capturing new landscapes, cultures, and people. She views traveling as a window to the world and uses it as an opportunity to learn and enrich herself. With such a passion for the art of street and landscape photography, Nathalie found a new genre to explore and apply her skills to – culinary photography. Though a different approach, she finds that it complements her cooking experience and offers another perspective on photography.
Nathalie's work is published in Trope Paris, the sixth volume in the Trope City Editions series, that celebrates the architecture and urban landscapes of France's capital city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture.
