As Partner and Editor at Trope Publishing, Sam believes strongly that beautiful and thoughtful books have a place in the world today. After working in advertising and design for over two decades, Sam Landers launched Trope as an integrated publishing platform for books, periodicals and films. Previously, he held various management positions with WPP, one of the world’s leading global marketing communication companies. During his time there, Sam worked in Chicago, New York and San Francisco ~ and traveled frequently throughout Europe, Asia and Africa (always taking his notebook & camera).

Sam's work is featured in The Reader, a photography book that intimately captures people from around the world lost in the timeless act of reading.

Sam's photography is also published in Trope Paris, Trope Chicago: The Loop & Beyond, and Trope Rome, the sixth, eighth, and ninth volumes in the Trope City Editions series.
