Steven Cheadle owns Bolide Photo and travels to capture atmospheric and cinematic photos, specializing in shooting with infrared converted cameras.  

Originally from Germany, he has lived in South Africa, attended college in Portland OR and Dundee, Scotland, and is currently at home in Washington DC, where he lives with his husband and two cats.  

For his photography practice, he travels frequently within the US and abroad. Images receive minimal post-processing, and retain their otherworldly, yet naturalistic appearance. He is especially keen on the special moments where randomly encountered scenes may resemble classic compositions or evoke cinematic sequences.
