Zach Butler is a Minneapolis-based photographer whose passion for design and photography sparked while studying at the University of Minnesota. He was working on an undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning and had to build an abstract 3D cardboard model which evolved into an uncanny outline of the state of Minnesota. He quickly became fascinated with the visual arts, inspiring him to pick up a camera in 2014. 

Zach now works professionally in architectural photography, focusing on both residential and commercial spaces. While working in real estate photography professionally, his true passion lies in capturing cityscape, landscape, and travel photography.  He also loves the editing process, especially when it comes to creating surreal, composite images that blur the line between reality and imagination.
