T R O P E   F I L M S

Trope Films is a collaborative enterprise with award-winning director and cinematographer, Terry Maday who currently is directing a docuseries of short-films about emerging photographers and social media influencers from around the world, titled, One Frame.

Two 8-minute short films feature Lucy Hamidzadeh, a London photographer, writer and social influencer and Hong Kong based photographer, architect and influencer, Vivien Liu, is a part of the One Frame docuseries.

   

  

 

 

 

T R O P E   P U B L I C A T I O N S

Trope City Editions is a curated collection of urban photography books by emerging photographers from around the world. Hundreds of contemporary urban images have been carefully curated by Trope editors and assembled into a collection of hardbound monographs for readers to enjoy.

Meticulously crafted and beautifully produced, the Chicago, London and Hong Kong Editions are available for sale, with other city volumes following throughout the Spring and Summer of 2020.

 

 

 

 

The Emerging Photographers Series is a new book collection that celebrates the works of young and emerging photographers from around the world – covering a variety of subjects. The first three books in this series is available in bookstores around the world (and on trope.com) with six additional titles coming throughout 2020.

Trope Publishing Company is proud to represent the artists and photographers featured in the various Trope Edition books, making their images available online and at our flagship 11,000 square foot gallery and production space located in the west side of Chicago.

The Trope Gallery space will house permanent collections from the City Edition Series and hold regularly scheduled openings for monographs of artists and photographers published by Trope. In addition to regular exhibits at the Chicago gallery space, Trope will schedule special exhibits in other major global cities as new titles are released.

All the amazing photography seen in our books and films comes from our vast network of over 60+ photographers and artists from around the world. We’re always on the watch for young, fresh and emerging talent to partner with for our next project. Many of these artists are active in the social space as respected influencers and brand ambassadors. Many have worked with global and regional brands such as Apple, Nikon, Audi, Huawei, Sony, Nike, Red Bull, Land Rover and Mercedes. Their work is seen collectively by more than six million followers on Instagram.
