Buddhathida "Cartoon" Wangsrimongkol
Description
Buddhathida Wangsrimongkol, or “Cartoon” was encouraged to explore her own personal interests, despite growing up in a medical household, and found visual art to be more tangible and enjoyable. She enjoys sketching and drawing, however after acquiring her first film camera, Cartoon found herself attached to it and began capturing candid photographs of her loved ones and nature.
After leaving Thailand in 2014 and receiving a dental degree, Cartoon came to the US to start her residency in Boston and leaned on photography as an artistic outlet. It was then that she started to take this hobby more seriously, gaining more social media attention, and features on several of Boston’s popular Instagram pages.
Cartoon enjoys urban and landscape photography, while constantly learning to improve her portraiture skills from her photographer peers.
