Snow Day in Atlanta
A rare snow day in Atlanta. I knew I had to go out and capture photos of the city. Here there was a lone person crossing the Rainbow Crosswalk on 10th Street and Piedmont Ave. I loved how the color and vibrance of the crosswalk popped out in comparison to the white and grayness of the snow.
Sunrise in Terminus
This was an early morning where I decided to go out and try and get some photos. Initially, the sky looked like it would be a dull sunrise and then all of a sudden these colors came out. Lighting up the sky with an amazing sunrise. What made it better was capturing the skyline of Atlanta in the distance with the rail lines guiding us back to Atlanta, this picture is a reminder of why the city used to be called "Terminus."
"Atlanta Influences Everything"
"Atlanta Influences Everything" is a phrase that captures the city's impact on culture, particularly in music, fashion, and entertainment. This mural in Edgewood was painted as a reminder of Atlanta's influence to the world. The city's influence extends beyond music, touching areas like film, television, and social movements, with Atlanta being a center for both civil rights history and contemporary activism.
Fall in Atlanta
This is the biggest green space in Atlanta, the Westside Reservoir Park. What started off as the Bellwood Quarry has been turned in to this beautiful space that everyone can enjoy providing residents with a scenic retreat while preserving the area's natural beauty. The centerpiece of the park is a massive reservoir that supplies drinking water to the city, surrounded by walking and biking trails, open fields, and stunning views of the Atlanta skyline.
