Congratulations to Nicholas Csicsko, co-author of Trope's 2023 title Iconic Composers, who has been elected the new Chair of the Board of Directors of Chamber Music America (CMA).
CMA announced Csicsko's new role on September 3, 2025, sharing that his experience in music as a composer and pianist mixed with his economic background offers a unique perspective to leadership. Csicsko joined CMA's board in 2024 where he served as the Secretary on the Executive Committee and also serves as the Chair of the Innovation Committee on the Finance Committee.
