‘Through The Eyes Of’ is an impressionistic photo series that features locations around the globe as seen through the eyes of a local creator. In today’s photo essay, London-based photographer Bal Bhatla (@mrwhisper) who is no stranger to London’s city street takes us with him as he captures an evening in the city.

Getting home from London at the end of an evening is never quite as straightforward as you’d imagine. Especially on the weekend. You can almost guarantee Train delays, cancellations and a general sense of chaos at London’s busiest station - Waterloo. This collection of moments was captured on the first Saturday evening London eased out of Lockdown after 18 months and documents the struggle of simply trying to get home at the end of the night.
