We're excited to announce Trope’s latest Chicago title, Chicago in Color by photographer Judit Prat Martí. After moving from Spain to join the University of Chicago’s Astronomy and Astrophysics Department in 2019, Judit began an artistic journey to capture the essence of her new city. Chicago in Color is the culmination of this journey, offering a minimalist and vibrant perspective of Chicago and its diverse neighborhoods, including a special focus on the South Side.

More than 200 thoughtfully edited images highlighting specific colors and combinations are interspersed with quotes from famous artists talking about the meaning and impact of color. Featuring iconic landmarks, such as Millennium Park and Willis Tower, as well as the city's colorful hidden gems, Chicago in Color invites readers to discover the beauty and character of Chicago.
