Early on in his life Brooklyn native, Selvon Ramsawak, learned that you won’t always have the ideal means to capture your vision but any means is a memory that can be made. In high school and even college, traveling across boroughs and walking the streets of Manhattan helped him find beauty in the bustle, and with his iPhone, capture unique compositions, intersecting streets, and framing views to portray the city the way he saw it. 

Selvon began photography to document the things he saw as a timeline. Certain memories he can associate with a place and photograph. Recently, he has found himself in the real estate division of photography and believes it’s surreal to capture buildings and even neighborhoods that define New York City’s skyline and livelihood.  

Sizing & Shipping

Sizes are measured from edge to edge of paper. Image size is approximately 2-3" smaller on all four sides, depending on the photographer's original format, to allow plenty of room for matting if desired. Custom sizes and shipping are available; please email or call for more info.

Print only orders are shipped untrimmed and gently rolled into a tube and ship within 2-3 days. Framed orders are boxed with protective foam and ship within 3-4 weeks.

All prints include a Certificate of Authenticity.

Paper & Printing

Trope prints are produced on museum-quality, uncoated fine art cotton rag paper. Images are printed with archival, colorfast dye inks for bold and precise color. Custom paper is available; please email or call for more info.
