South East London photographer and writer Lucy Hamidzadeh discusses how she found comfort as a street photographer, her keen eye for detail, and her masterful way with words. She also shares details on her solo book, Unfinished Stories, from Trope's Emerging Photographer series, and how photography allows her to explore and make sense of the world, as well as herself.
Unfinished Stories is an extensive collection of photographs that capture the daily lives of people on the streets, in trains, and at cafés, going through their day, often without much thought or notice. Each photo is captured in an indelible way by Lucy’s eye and camera. Their "unfinished stories" are her inspiration for the book, making for a lasting glimpse at the fleeting moments she encounters on the streets of London.
